and Edinburgh
This summer Word Express arrives in Scotland.
Literature Across Frontiers and the
Scottish Poetry Library are bringing poets and translators
Gokçenur Ç and
Efe Duyan (Turkey),
Katerina Iliopoulou and
Yannis Isidorou (Greece),
Marko Pogačar (Croatia),
Raman Mundair and
Ryan van Winkle (Scotland) together for a translation workshop
and performances at Crear and the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
The writers and translators will spend time together at Crear, a remote retreat on the beautiful and windswept Scottish coast, working together to develop their translation skills and open up opportunities for their writing to be read in several different languages.
